Our Story
The idea for .vax was born from a late-night conversation in which several art professionals and enthusiasts, including ourselves, came to the conclusion that "Vancouver's rich and unique natural and cultural heritage resources, along with its economic conditions, make it suitable as a node and destination for global art creation and cultural activities."We believe Vancouver has the potential to foster outstanding contemporary art creation and connect art and cultural activities across different regions of the world. Our goals are as follows: to promote art and cultural activities and exchanges, to support the professional development of artists, and to establish Vancouver as a vital node for the global circulation of art and culture.
We will act in accordance with our vision and strive to continuously expand our projects in the future to respond to the ever-changing new needs of the contemporary art world.
